Homicide’s last eight crimes written off as “wrestling angles”.![]() Homicide, a prominent and respected Indy wrestler, recently won the Ring of Honor World Championship. Aside from bookings with ROH, he also works in TNA, where he is a co-holder of the NWA Tag Team Titles with Hernandez, who looks like the Warlord. And, though you wouldn’t know it by looking at official records, Homicide has been busy outside of the wrestling ring as well. We looked into Terry Pibbs’ accusation that Homicide had robbed a Florida Subway at gunpoint and why the Orlando Police Department hadn’t looked into it. After several phone calls to the Police Department, we reached the Chief. According to him, he’d never investigated because the robbery was a “wrestling angle”. The only thing is, it wasn’t. PRWN was curious as to why somebody would have one of Homicide’s real-life crimes written off as a “wrestling angle”. So, we looked into it further. It appears as though Homicide is such a valuable wrestler, and commits so many crimes, that it has become common practice for bookers to cover for him. PRWN uncovered eight crimes, dating back to a vicious crowbar-beating of 88-year-old Pennsylvania resident, Eleanor Gabel, in 2000, that allegedly had involved Homicide and gone undocumented. “That must have gotten the crowd hot” said Pennsylvania Police Officer, David Rell, of the crowbar-attack. Looking for a comment, PRWN left messages for both TNA and ROH. Neither would return our phone calls We’re also happy to report that, thanks to our investigation, two of the incidents are now being looked into as actual crimes, including a 2002 murder where a man was butchered to death with various meat-cleavers. We’re not sure how that one slipped by police so easily. In any case, if you’d like a to report a crime that you believe may have involved Homicide, you can go to our “Contact” page and drop us a line. We’ll take you seriously. Thanks |
